First our eyes meet

I joined a club my brother used to be in. There were mostly guys and only four girls, including me.

He was sitting on a spinning chair playing with his glasses behind the club president. He waved and smiled at me when our eyes met.

Us newbies introduced ourselves. "Hi, my name is Mei and I heard this club would be fun and entertaining like my brother said. I hope I'll make new friends and new memories with you all", I said. My friend in the other hand joined this club because I joined and her sister who is already a member and she introduced herself. Mr President shook our hands and so did the vice president. Meanwhile, he stared at me and smiled, he stood up and shook my hand gently and introduced himself with a gentle smile. "Hi, my name is Neal. It is nice to meet you", he said. He walked away with a cheerful mood towards the VP and Mr P and were friendly with each other. He kept looking back at me and I kept looking back at him.

When we all finished and had to go home he stayed waiting with me at a near by bench. We were alone and silent until it started raining. We ran under the tree and were still quiet. When I seen my ride drive up to me I said goodbye. He stopped me by pulling my bag and asked if I was coming tomorrow again. I told him yes and ran inside my car. I felt cold from the rain but my face was very warm. I asked myself, "What am I thinking?".
