The change started

Its been two months since we started talking through text. I've been starting off the text with a "hey" or a "hi" this past two weeks. Seems like he's been busy with work. We end our conversations too early and it seems like he's drifting away. On school hours during passing every time I spot him I try to say hi and ask for an high five. He looks at me but looked uneasy. He gave me a high five anyways. The next day I passed by him and ask for a high five trying to block his way he never looked into my eyes. He hesitantly tried to give me a high five but ended up curling his hand into a fist and gave me a fist bump instead. He still didn't look me in the eyes.

Its been a week since I talked to him and he's talked to me. But once I came home he asked me for my number but sadly my phone broke and I couldn't text him if I didn't have any Wi-Fi. But we talked normally on that day. I found his interest in pop music and some K-pop. He planned to let me listen to his playlist on his phone next time we meet at the club and id let him listen to mine. We also made a bet if I could scare him under a week I get to do his hair. If I don't scare him under a week then he would give me some kind of punishment.

Few days later, out of no where a upperclassmen texted me. He told me a lot of things about what I missed the pass few days. Most importantly he told me what he seen and heard. He seen a picture of me and him holding hands. It was during the time he was teaching me how to draw a letter in a cool font. It seemed like someone seen us and took a picture and posted it on a website. I freaked out in the inside because a bad feeling rushed through my gut.

We started getting close

Texting almost everyday. Saying "hi" everyday. Hand hugs everyday. High fives everyday. Every time we pass by each other we would blush and say "hi". Every time I see him my day gets brighter and I can't help but talk about him to my friends. How cute he gets when he tries to hide his flustered face. How much he hates being called cute or nerdy. How he jokes around with his short T Rex arms.

I had a hard time writing a fancy letter in a fancy font (I know pretty dumb). He helps me by drawing the letter a few times better and better. When I still couldn't get it he started writing steps. When I still couldn't get it he took my hand and traced the letter. When I thought I did a pretty good job he erased it again and grabbed my hand and traced the letter again on the paper. When we finished tracing he held my hand a bit longer every time. From just a little touch to 3 minutes hold.

When people started entering the room I had to find a seat but the only seat left was one behind a tall table at the back. Turns out he also had to find a seat. He looked at me and walked towards me. Knowing how small and skinny I am he sat next to me squeezing his butt to the chair. I moved at the edge of the chair so that he could have a bit more space. He put his hand around me from my back and placed his hands on the chairs arm rest where my arm was resting. He closed his eyes and put his head on my shoulder for just a second until everyone had to look back at us and started laughing and giggling.
